- [Instructor] Infoworks does have the capabilities to import point cloud data. So for this exercise we're going to start from a fresh clean drawing. I'm going to go into new. Give it a name, so I'm going to call it point cloud data. And I'm going to select working location and I'm going to select our exercise files. Select this folder. It's going to be called Point Cloud Data. Here you can select the extense of your model, the coordinate system, design standards and the content. I'm just going to click okay. Okay next we're going to bring in our point cloud data from the data sources panel. I'm going to select from the pull down, point cloud data. I'm going to browse to our data set under Infowork data set, existing conditions, point cloud data. Then select point cloud data RCS. That's actually our line to our data. Click open, we're going to double click configure. It already knows the coordinate system already.…
