- [Instructor] Once you have opened…the Lynda road design model,…click on the settings and utilities button…in the top left…and this will bring up some model utilities…that you can use for things like duplicating,…seeing what scripts you're running, message logs,…options, that type of thing,…but the one that we're interested in now…is the model properties,…and this is just to make sure that we do…some basic housekeeping to make sure that our model…is set up in the correct way.…
This little panel over here is the co-ordinate systems panel…and this is where you'll see the co-ordinate system…that you're working in,…and it's important if you're working with GIS data sources…that come from multiple agencies.…Often there's a need to convert…from one local co-ordinate system to another,…and it's good to know what you actually have to convert to.…Next up you have the extent panel.…Now this particular model that we're working on…was built by ModelBuilder,…so we specified an extent when we put it together,…if you didn't do that and you were working…
