- [Instructor] To create a preliminary conceptual 3D site model, users will take advantage of the InfraWorks Model Builder. The InfraWorks Model Builder is located on the home dashboard on the upper left-hand corner. We'll select Model Builder. This will bring up the Model Builder application. Model Builder actually uses Bing Maps for aerials. On the right, we have roads that can actually be downloaded, building footprints, aerials, and elevation for terrain. One quick note is that the largest area you can select to download is 386 square miles. For our project we're going to type in an address of 5933 Cromwell Marine Creek Road. I'll actually select the aerial, so I can see my site and we're going to build our model here, along the north and south side of Cromwell Creek Road. I'm going to select the Draw a rectangle option to select our site. Assign a project name or model name, existing conditions, and select create model.…
