- Next we'll look at intersection design. Open up the intersection sequel light model under exercise files six road design. An intersection will appear any where that two component roads cross. So, for example, we've got two component roads, this one and this one, in our model, and where they cross, there's an automatic intersection. If I pick on the intersection itself, you can see that it's a junction type of an intersection. We have two options and we can toggle between them. For example, we've got a traditional intersection and a roundabout. If we switch to roundabout, you can see that the road is modified, there's a lot of lead up, we can change things inside of it by selecting the diameters and so on. If I change that intersection again by clicking on it and in the stack, choosing junction type back to regular intersection, you can see, the roads modify accordingly.
