- [Instructor] When you first open Infraworks, you'll notice a number of thumbnails that represent various models that are available to download. You know you can download these models because there's a blue down arrow. For example, on this one, the Charlotte, North Carolina model, I can click it and it will download the 31 MGs to my local computer or this Roads Tutorial, which is 62 MGs, I can also download that. As you create more and more models, those thumbnails will appear on your main screen within your dashboard. In the dashboard you also have other options, such as opening an existing model, creating a brand new model, and using the model builder to build one using data that you can download. On the right hand side, you have a series of notices. Those notices will update intermittently. An important notice might be install country specific content to use in your models. There's also previews. For example, land areas and grading behaviors and site design. You may want to click these on now, as we'll be using them throughout the course.
