- Trees bring life and detail to your model to make it seem more realistic and interesting. And at times, trees and other vegetation serve practical purposes and are more than just aesthetic additions. Let's explore how to add individual trees rows of trees, and stands of trees to your model. I've opened the Chapter Four Hotel Lynda model, and I'm going to select the create trees proposal. I'll also pick the hotel plan bookmark, which will zoom us in to the hotel site that we're developing. I'd like to start off by creating a row of trees along the west side of the property to act as a shield between this industrial area to the west, and our hotel property to the east. To get started, I'll expand the InfraWorks toolbar and click the pencil icon. If I study the tools that are made available I can see that there is a row of trees tool, and a stand of trees tool. I'll choose the row of trees tool and then pick a style from my trees that I know will work well for this application. You can…
