Creating coverage areas
- Coverage area is a method to applying materials to a land cover area to represent grass or pavement for a proposed site or an existing conditioned site. So, for this exercise, we're going to continue on with the commercial site. We're going to add a 25 foot landscape buffer around the outside of our property. So the X is the tool. Under the Intelligence tab, under Create Conceptual Design Features we'll select Coverages. And we'll select grass with gravel border. And now, you're just going to snap to the corner of the boundary of our property. Here, we're just kind of sketching something out visually. You can type a number here, if you want to. If you hit Enter, now, it's locked in a length. And you just basically tell it the angle or direction you want it. For this exercise, I'm just going to visually draw this in. To do it more accurately, we would actually draw it in CADS, that way it's actually in the same…
