- [Narrator] In this video we're going to to optimize a component road using the corridor optimization tool. Open corridorOpt.sqlite file found under exercise files road design. Under analyze transportation choose corridor optimization. we're going to set the design speed to 30 miles per hour we're going to make sure the road is just the basic two-lane road that's great. we're going to to draw a brand new path. So, we're going to pick the plus button and we're going to to draw a path from the top corner through this empty lot and have it touch the other component road there we are. So, we have a path listed here says path one let's just call this option one. So, now we have 30 miles per hour you can see the path on the screen is a two-lane road next we should go to advanced settings. Now there's certain areas we need to avoid so, we can draw an avoidance zone I'd say plus and we'll draw right around here we'll make a…
