Where to create a template

- [Instructor] Now that we have our document templates all rounded up, we're gong to need a place to put them. They will be stored in a SharePoint document library. However, where you create that document library needs to be strategic in its location. Let's talk a little bit about where that library should live within SharePoint. When you envision the SharePoint hierarchy, imagine that it looks like an organization chart. At each tier of the hierarchy, you have a combination of content which can include lists, libraries, or subsites. Document libraries that store templates can only be accessed at the current level, and all sites below that tier. For example, if we create the template library below the catering site, common templates that might be useful to the sales site would not be available. This occurs often. Catering events sometimes have small amounts of room nights. Or large conferences would have a combination of room nights, as well as food and beverage services. So having…
