- [Instructor] Live links are great to our data, but sometimes we need to be able to run queries in demand, and creating macros that export can definitely help. I want to build a query that will allow us every year to run a year-to-date list of orders. Let's go create a query. Choose Create. Query Design. And let's go ahead and bring in Customers and Orderslist. And choose Close. We're going to relate our customers to orders through the customer ID. I'll go ahead and bring in Customer Name. Order ID. I'll bring in my Order Dates, the ship dates, so just size my table so I can see them. Going to hold Shift to click that ship date. Drag that down. And I'll bring in my Order Amount. Okay, now if I run this query right now, which I will do, it shows me every order that's actually in the orders list every year.
