- [Instructor] Append queries and delete queries will allow you to copy data where it belongs and delete data where you no longer need it. Again, an append query actually copies data from one table to another table and a delete query will allow you to delete all the records in a table when you no longer need them. We set ourself up for a much easier process than having to manually tweak Excel files every time we get a new version of the file. So what we've done so far is we've imported in our orders list and then every month, we've built an import where we can bring in new orders. I want to append my new orders to my orders list so let's create a query that will allow us to do that. I'll go to create and I'll choose query design. I'll go ahead and double click my new orders and then I can close my show table. So everything that imports in on new orders needs to go to my order list.
