Using rules for conditional formatting

One of the things that makes a form easy to use for our users is to ensure that we don't ask them for information that they don't need to provide. An example here is that if the user tells us that this post is actually news then they need to provide an expiration date for the news: a week from now, or month from now. But if it's not news, we don't need an expiration date. I've added a text field for another possibility. If the user chooses one of our first three option buttons, then we have all the information that we need. But if they want a description with a link to somewhere else on the site, a different URL, then they're going to need to provide us with the information to get to that page, or to that specific place. However, if they choose the first three choices, we don't need to have them do anything here.
