Promoting columns to SharePoint

You don't have to wait until you publish a form to determine what fields out of our data source we'd like to see in Outlook or in SharePoint. You can pre-assign those by making them promotable properties. Let me show you how you'll do that. This is particularly useful if you intend to submit a form to more than one location, because you can set this all in one place. This is a form that we just got done publishing and when we published it, we actually chose four columns that we decided that we wanted to have in SharePoint based on four of the field properties here. I'm going to go to File, not to regular Options but to Form Options and choose Property Promotion, because the work that we did promoting these fields into SharePoint is actually captured right here and stored in the form. So if I wish, I could have started by adding my promotable properties here. I can also edit them here. Now, until I publish, I'll have a mismatch between this form and what the library has in it.
