In this video, Drew Bridewell explains how to save a file, how to save as, the difference between when you would do each of them, and how saving works inside of InVision Studio.
- [Instructor] Just like any application,…when you do a little work,…you'll wanna save that work.…Now saving files inside of Studio is as simple…as a quick keyboard press Command + S.…So in Studio today, when I make a change,…I'm gonna see a little edited text bar right here…in the title bar of my file.…So let me show you how that works.…So I'm gonna make this text bar a little bit smaller.…Now just by a little change like that,…I go back into my file and I can see that edited text…is now there.…
So if I wanna get the change,…all I have to do is hit Command + S,…and I get that change and it goes away…and that's how you know you saved the file.…When you're ready to save a version of a file…and tweak the naming convention to say,…V1, V2, Final, Draft,…that's when you would wanna use the Save As function…which is Command + Shift + S.…So let me show you how that works.…So now if I make a change again,…you can do any changes that you want.…You're still gonna see that edited text up at the top.…
