When adding new interactions to any existing artboard, you want to relink the layers if you want to maintain a smooth motion transition. In this video, Drew Bridewell shares the auto link feature inside the timeline editor and why it's important when working with interactions.
- [Instructor] So often times as designers,…we make some awesome prototypes and then we realize,…we need to make some updates to it.…We've set up all these animations, these transitions…from state one to state two, and we realize…we need to make some polish, we need to keep it going.…So what I'm gonna show you in this prototype is…how to go back in and edit an existing prototype…that already has animation set up,…because there's a few other steps that you need to follow.…So let me show you what we have to work with.…So I'm gonna hit command p on the splash menu to show you…what this prototype looks like.…
All right, so I have my animations coming in,…and this is a quick quiz around building out design systems,…so there's three questions, not too much…to throw at you here, but because I know all the answers,…it's all of the above, why are Design Systems important,…all of the above, and I have these little transitions…coming in for each step, and okay, who can benefit,…all of the above, and then finish,…and then it comes into the next state,…
