When it comes to components, you don’t have to think of components as just buttons or drop-down menus. Components can be a combination of elements and they can also have nested components inside each of them. In this video, Drew Bridewell takes you on a deeper tour of components inside of InVision Studio.
- [Instructor] Now I wanna show you some pro-tips…when working with components.…So, right off the bat, I created a components art board…and I'm gonna go over to my library…which has a ton of different components to use.…Now, what I'm gonna do, is I'm going to select…and drag one of these out into the art board.…The first one I'm gonna start with, closed captioning.…I can tell that this is a component…by when I hover my mouse over the element…it shows up in purple.…If I toggle back over to my layers panel…you can see that the component has been added…and it now shows in mine.…
So, one cool thing about this, is if I wanted…to be able to toggle this to a lot of different components,…I could just select the component over here,…on the right side and now with the arrow…on my keyboard, I can quickly toggle through…all my different components in a very quick way.…This is a really nice way to scroll through…your different components, through different icons,…making sure they're the right sizes…and just be able to get to your components in a quick way.…
