In the last movie, we looked at how to apply formatting to text inside of a…paragraph based on its location,…the first word, the first line, first sentence and so on.…But there's another, more powerful way to apply formatting to text inside a…paragraph called GREP Styles, and this lets you apply a character style to text…no matter where it appears in the paragraph.…Let me show you how.…I'm going to zoom in on this paragraph again, and I see that the word Roux shows…up in several places in this paragraph.…I'd like to apply formatting to all the places that Roux shows up.…
To do that, I'm going to open my Paragraph Styles Panel, and I'm going to scroll…down to the intro2 Paragraph Style.…I happened to know that's the paragraph style applied to that paragraph.…I'll right-click on it, or Ctrl+click with a one-button mouse, and choose Edit.…When the Paragraph Style Options dialog box appears, I'm going to choose GREP Style.…Now, the word GREP intimidates some users, but don't be scared, it's not that hard.…
