Working with fine typographic controls

- In this movie we're going to be looking at some of the fine typographic controls that CSS gives us, that enable us to make not only or text look better, but make it easier for our reader to consume. I'm in the file CSS Text [EPUB], and I'm working in Calibre. You'll have access to this file if you're a premium subscriber, but of course you could always work along in your own editor with your own file, if you choose to do so. So the three essential properties we're going to work through here are line-height, letter-spacing, and word-spacing. And in this file I've got a couple of paragraphs just here. So we'll start off by creating a paragraph rule, just here. So I'm just going to put a P selector and my bracers, I tend to do that in one go so that way I don't miss one off. And we'll look at the line-height property first, so let's just do line-height just here. I'm going to set that to a large value to start off with.
