Working with cell style overrides

- Cell Styles work a lot like other InDesign styles. But there are some differences. And one which I think can be a little confusing is the way overrides in Cell Styles work. So I wanna kinda clear that up for you. First of all, remember that if we have a cell that has the style None applied, as I have here, it's not really a neutral state. The cell style None has some attributes in it such as 1 pt stroke around it, a fill of None, and so forth. Here, I'm gonna click in a cell, press the escape key to select the cell. This is a cell that already has a style applied. And there's an override on it. But notice at the bottom of the Cell Styles panel we have actually two options to clear overrides. One, and the one that we're used to, is Clear overrides in selection, but we also have an icon to Clear attributes not defined by style.
