Working with cell fills

- It's a wonderful world of color out there and InDesign tables are part of this world because it's very easy to fill table cells with any color that's in your Swatches panel or Gradient for that matter. Applying fill colors to table cells is pretty straight forward and we're going to take a look at that along with some little things you need to keep in mind. Using gradients in table cells is a little bit less straight forward, so we'll cover that in another video. To apply a fill to a cell, we simply select the cell, I'll click in this cell and press Escape, and then we can change the color in several different places. One, I can go to Cell Options, Strokes and Fills, and down here I have settings for Cell Fill. All the colors in my Swatches panel show up here. So let's make this Pea Green. I can also change the Tint, let's make it 50%. When I click OK, the cell has taken on that color and tint. I'll select the cell again, notice that I can also come up to my Control panel and I have…
