Join Justin Seeley for an in-depth discussion in this video Working with Creative Cloud libraries, part of InDesign CC 2014 New Features.
- One of my favorite features…that's ever been added to the Creative Cloud…has got to be this thing called "Libraries".…And when it first launched it was available…for Photoshop and Illustrator only,…and InDesign users have been clamoring…to get their hands on this for such a long time.…And now, they've got it inside of Adobe InDesign CC.…So, what is a Library?…Well, a Library is a way for you…to take bits and pieces of information and assets…from your design compositions and save them…in a repository that you can easily access…in other Creative Cloud apps,…or that you can share with other people in your work group.…
Let's take a look at how this works.…In the Window menu if you go down to CC Libraries…inside of InDesign, it will launch this panel here.…It may take a moment to load if you have other Libraries…already inside of it.…If you don't, that's OK.…You can see here I have a few that I've been working on…in other applications like Photoshop and Illustrator.…But, basically what this is, is a container…that holds a lot of different information.…
