Before starting this course, you should know a few things. You should know how to basically create your publication in your chosen software. Be that InDesign, Word or whatever. If you don't and you're using InDesign. Then you might want to check out some of the courses by Ann Marie Concepcion in the lynda.com library. If you're using Microsoft Word, provided you're okay with applying headings and styles and that sort of thing, you'll be just fine. Otherwise, you might want to check out other offerings in the lynda.com library also.
In this course, I'll be covering outputting the file. Then editing the resulting EPUB, to make it ready for Kindle devices. The only other things you'll need, are a willingness or readiness to learn. And a sense of humor probably wouldn't go amiss in this course, as in life. If you can check all four of those things, then we are ready to go.
