Covers styles, a time-saving set of features that allows designers to maximize efficiency in InDesign.
(air rushing) - [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Michael Murphy, and I'd like to welcome you to InDesign Styles in Depth. Styles are a feature that I use every day, and with each new version, they get better and more powerful. Most of this course is compatible with CS4, CS5, and CS5.5. I'll let you know when there are any exceptions. We'll start off with the basics of creating paragraph and character styles and build up to advanced formatting options, like nested styles, and GREP styles that are designed to boost productivity and efficiency.
Next, we'll move onto object styles, table styles, and cell styles, and see how these style types work together to save you time. We'll explore how styles can be used to generate automated headers, tables of contents, and cross-references. And we'll look at how we can take our styles beyond print to HTML and EPUB. If you're ready to take a look at one of InDesign's most powerful features, let's get started with InDesign Styles in Depth.
