Welcome

- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Justin Putney, and welcome to Creating HTML Layouts with InDesign. In this course, we'll be learning techniques to export content from InDesign into a universally viewable format. First, we'll cover some HTML basics and why you'd want to export it from InDesign. We'll look at two different sample projects for two different types of output. Then, I'll show you how to share your content with the world, as well as how to repurpose it inside of other projects. Next, we will look at several different ways to convert your HTML into mobile apps, including ways that are inexpensive and ways that can help you bypass the App Store. Finally, we will go through best practices for both text and images, and I'll show you how to add functionality and style to your output with JavaScript and CSS. This course should be accessible to most users, but it helps to have a basic understanding of InDesign and a general sense of the web. I'm very excited to share these techniques with you, so let's get started with Creating HTML Layouts with InDesign.
