Using in5 to export a layout from InDesign to HTML

- Now I'm gonna show you a commercial plug-in that I've developed called in5. In5 exports HTML from InDesign as a fixed layout and it supports the interactive features of InDesign including Folio Overlays. You can download a free trial at in5.ajar.pro. If you want to follow along in the Exercise Files, I'm in Chapter 2, 02_04 in the start folder. Inside the mini catalog folder, I'm just gonna open up the mini catalog.indd file. This is the fixed layout sample document, all the different text formatting, different images and positioning. There's also an interactive menu that is linked from the Master Page. We're just gonna export this with in5. Once in5 is installed, you can access it by going up to File and choose Export HTML5 with in5. I'll walk you through some of the options in the dialog. You can choose where to export, you can export different page ranges, and you can export different page formats. So in this one we'll export to the Slider Horizontal format. You can also make a…
