Join Steve Harris for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the exercise files, part of Designing a Resume.
If you are a premium member of the lynda.com online training library, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this course. If you don't have access to the exercise files, you can follow along using your own assets. The exercise files for this course are organized into subfolders for each chapter of the series. Inside of each sub folder, you will find a separate folder for each individual movie that contains all of the graphics and working files. In your assets folder, you will find a complete InDesign file and PDF of each of our resumes.
We've also included the resume content in Word format, in two different versions. A basic version, that contains minimal text and a detailed version, that we will use in our text heavy resumes. To make this course even more valuable, consider using your own personal resume content, to build the document. Rather than the sample content we provided.
Note: Steve uses Adobe InDesign to create these resumes, but we've included a bonus chapter that shows you how to recreate the same designs in Microsoft Word or the software of your choice.
