- [Voiceover] So just to finish up this poster, here's the finished version and this is where I am currently. I now want to apply some filtering to the type. I have all the pieces of type saved encapsulated in one smart object and I want to use the displacement filter on this. First of all, I need to build a displacement map. So to do this, I'm going to turn off the top two layers, come to the image menu and choose Duplicate and check Duplicate Merged Layers Only. I can give it a name right here. I'll call it Fashionshow_displace. I'm going to change the color mode to grayscale and then really amp up the contrast. I'll press command or control L to bring up my levels. Get my black point slider and my white point slider and bring these closer to the center. I'll also get my gray point slider and drag this to the right. So we have drastically increased contrast. I will now save this as a PSD file, return to the work in progress, turn those layers back on, target the type layer, then…
