Using a custom baseline grid
- [Instructor] If we take a look at our grid preferences. If I come to the preferences menu, for Windows users you'll find this at the bottom of the edit menu and to grids, we see that there is only one grid increment and this applies to the whole document. Now if you've constructed your grid carefully this single grid increment should be enough for the vast majority of your needs. We have in other movies in this chapter seen various work arounds and techniques that we can use to work within a single grid increment. That said, there may be times when we want to apply a separate grid increment or a custom baseline grid. This is such an example where you have a supporting article, the type is smaller so to have it's leading conform to the baseline grid of the body text is going to look just a little bit too airy. So for that reason, I'm going to select this frame and come to the object menu and to text frame options and then to my baseline options and choose use custom baseline grid…
