Using Quick Apply
- [Instructor] Quick Apply, in my opinion, is one of the most useful tools in InDesign. In addition to allowing you to quickly apply styles in InDesign, it gives you an easy way to find hidden away commands very easily. Let me show you how Quick Apply works. So, in this spread that I have open on my screen, again, I have unformatted some of the text at the beginning of this page, just to give me some text to format. Now, the way that Quick Apply works is you can go ahead and click in some text that you want to format. Okay, so I'm going to click in that first paragraph. And then Quick Apply is located at the far right side of your Control Panel. It's the little lightning bolt icon. And if you click that icon, it's going to display the quick apply window.
