Use the Animation panel
- [Instructor] With InDesign's Animation panel, you can make objects move, change size, position or visibility and your animations can be viewed in EPUB and Publish Online documents. So let's check it out. I'll start by opening the Animation panel. It's this one here with three dots as its icon. And I'll select the text frame in our exercise file with the artist name and the little ornament on it. This icon with the three circles, same as the Animation panel, tells me that an animation has been applied to this frame. In the panel, I can see that this animation has been named artist and it uses the preset fade in and if I move my cursor over the butterfly logo, I can see a preview of the fade in effect. In the Preset menu, I have a list of all the animation presets that InDesign offers and there's also a choice None at the top that I can choose to remove an animation or clicking the trash can at the bottom of the panel accomplishes the same thing.
