Updating margins and columns
- In this movie, I'll show you how to modify the margins and columns inside of a document. I'm going to start by creating yet another new document, so I'll go to the File menu, choose New, and then choose Document. Or you can press control N, or command N on the Mac. I'm going to switch the intent to Web, as we were doing before in a previous movie. I'm going to turn on the Primary Text Frame. A Page Size of 800 x 600 is just fine for starters, which means we're going to end up with a landscape orientation. I've got two columns with a gutter of 18 pixels. You can see that my top and left margins are different than the bottom and right margins. I'm going to change the top margin to 100 pixels, let's say, just for the sake of demonstration, and I'm going to change the left margin to 100 pixels as well. Make sure that the little link icon, this chain, is turned off. And then click Okay in order to create that new document. Now I'll go up to the File menu and choose the Place command, and…
