- If you're working with InDesign today, you're probably at least thinking about delivery of your content in epub format or maybe html. InDesign is pretty good at the process of converting your print documents to these digital formats. But it's not perfect. You can really help the process, though, by using some table export best practices. If you're interested in learning more about epub in general, there's no better resource than Anne-Marie Concepcion's course here on lynda.com, InDesign CC 2015 Epub Fundamentals. I'm going to just talk about how you can prepare your tables for the maximum success with epub or html export. Remember, an epub is really just an html file, and it's associated CSS, that's wrapped up as a zip file. I'm going to show you what happens when you export a table to epub, but the results will be similar in html export. I have here a file that has tables in it that I've prepared in various ways.
