Type size and leading
- In this movie, I'll show you how to adjust the type size and leading of your text. Before we go any further, I need to define our terms. I'm going to go out to the window menu and choose the layers command in order to bring up the layer's panel. We'll be visiting this panel in more detail in a later chapter but for now just know that I need this panel in order to hide and show elements inside of this document. I'll go ahead and drag the bottom of the panel down so I have more room to work. We're going to start by focusing our attention on what InDesign calls font size but is more commonly known in the industry as type size or point size. I'll go ahead and turn off the leading layer for now then I'll select the type tool which you can get by pressing the T key and I'll click in this first line of type in order to set my blinking insertion marker.
