Tracking
- [Voiceover] As I mentioned in an earlier movie my personal preference is to set my type density, the tightness or looseness of the type, using letter spacing and then use tracking just to make a few cosmetic adjustments on top of that if necessary. So that's what I'm going to do here. In the text on the right I'm going to make a few tracking adjustments, so that we can compare to the unchanged text on the left. First of all let me mention that I have changed the letter spacing for both passages of text, so my starting point is to change the letter spacing and I'm working with 95% word spacing and minus one letter spacing. I have also applied optical automatic kerning to both passages. Now I'm going to select by three clicks for the headline and I would like to give this more of a sense of importance and just make it look more fitting for the document by loosely spacing the characters.
