- [Instructor] There are many ways to edit the content of an EPUB. In this movie, I'm going to demonstrate a few of the most popular ways to do so. The first method and my personal favorite for editing is Oxygen. Oxygen is a powerful XML Editor, and while it is the most expensive by far, it offers a wide array of features than other tools available. It is an agile, straightforward EPUB editor with built-in validation tools that make it well worth the initial outlay. With some EPUB editing tools, you need to unpack the EPUB first. You will remember that EPUB is actually a ZIP format that can be expanded to see all the elements inside of it and when zipped up, returns it to its closed EPUB format. Oxygen definitely handles the zipping and unzipping with ease. You'll notice that the software reveals a lot of tabs and tools that I encourage you to explore.
