- [Instructor] So, as you may remember, we are using justified type for the body text. And whenever you use justified type, this presents its own unique problems, chief amongst which is, we need to make sure that the spacing between the words doesn't vary too much. I'll press Cmd or Ctrl + ; to hide my guides. I am now going to turn on a composition preference that's going to highlight where our word spacing problems are. Windows users, you'll find your preferences at the bottom of the Edit menu. And then turn on H and J Violations, and we see lots of yellow highlighting. Now this is where InDesign can't do what you're asking of it in the justification settings. So we're going to change those, and hopefully achieve a much better type density with much less variation in the size of the word spaces, and we'll be able to get rid of much of this yellow highlighting.
