Setting page transitions

- [Instructor] Let's see how to add page transition effects between the slides of a presentation created in InDesign. First, the most important thing to know about page transitions is that they only work when you export to PDF, and when the PDF is viewed in full screen mode. So if you're thinking about exporting to publish online, HTML, or fixed layout EPUB, you can forget about using InDesign's page transitions, but they're still nice to have in a PDF presentation. So let's add some to our file here. I'll start by choosing Window, Interactive, Page Transitions. And in the panel, there's a transition menu to choose an effect. I'll choose Blinds, and I get a preview of the effect. Now, some of the transitions also have direction and speed options you can set. For example, your blinds can be horizontal or vertical, and you can make them go slow, fast, or medium. I'll choose Fade, and leave the speed at medium. Then…
