Set up a workspace

- [Instructor] Before we begin working with styles, I want to create a workspace that gives me easy access to all the panels I need. Currently, I'm in the Essentials workspace. I'm going to switch this to Advanced and use this as my starting point. Just to make sure that I'm looking at the default version of Advanced, I'll come and choose Reset. So now, I am going to group my panels differently. I would like Character Styles and Paragraph Styles grouped together, and I'm also going to add to that panel grouping Object Styles. I'll then tear off this panel group and move it up so that it becomes the second panel grouping. And I'm doing that so that when I have these panels open, I can extend them and see as many of the styles as possible without having to resort to scroll bars. Note that the styles on my Paragraph Styles panel reflect my default set of styles, and you won't currently have these. To my panels, I'm going to add the Table and Cell Styles. Window, Styles, Table Styles, this gives me a panel grouping of three panels, one of which, the Table panel, I don't need, just because I prefer to do my table formatting through the Table menu. So with these two, I'll drag those beneath Object Styles. In addition, I like to have my Text Wrap panel open. So I'll open that. I'll come and group that with Effects. And now I'm going to switch the position of my Swatches, drag that up, and my Links, just because I'm going to be using Swatches more frequently. So when I have the panels the way that I want them, I'll return to the workspace picker, choose New Workspace, give the workspace a title. Having done this, I can, at any time, restore my workspace to that state by coming to the workspace picker and choosing Reset.
