Sequential styles
- [Voiceover] In documents where the text styling follows a consistent pattern, which is a large proportion of documents, you can use the next style option to define a sequence of styles that can be applied with a single click. A simple example of a style sequence might be a subhead style that is always followed by a body note indent style. You can also use sequential styles for directory listings, to make fast work of what otherwise might be an arduous task. So in this example I have this listing text. And the listing text always follows the same sequence. And that sequence is 01 title, 02 body, 03 info. What I need to do is define these styles so that I take advantage of the next style property. I'll edit the 01 title style. It's next style will be 02. And then I'll edit the 02 style. It's next style will be 03. To make this into a repeating loop I'll edit 03 and make it's next style 01. I will now select all of the text and to apply a style sequence right click on the first style…
