- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll consider issues related to saving files in InDesign's native file format. Specifically, we'll see how to ensure your InDesign documents can be opened by people using older versions of the program. To record the movies for this course, I'm using InDesign CC 2019. If you want to see what specific version of InDesign you're using, you can choose About InDesign, and I can see that this version is 14.0.2. Click on this information to dismiss it. or Control on Windows and choose About InDesign, you get a much more detailed dialog box where you can see the exact build number of the version of the InDesign you're using. And lots of details about the document you have open. To see my options for saving this document, I'll choose File, Save a Copy. I'll save it to the desktop.
