Repurposing HTML content for a blog post or email

- In this video, we're going to look at how you might re-purpose your content from InDesign for a blog post or email. Re-purposing content in this way is one of the hardest things to do, because the layout is already being managed in the case of a blog, or it's prevented by the technology in the case of an email. Knowing the limitations of your target technology will help you plan your content. The HTML that can be deployed in an email is limited by the email client being used by the recipient of the email. And unfortunately most email clients use circa 1999 HTML technology. Most email clients don't support a head tag which is where most CSS and JavaScript is generally housed to manage the layout and interactivity of an HTML document. Media, absolute position of elements and interactivity are all off the table with HTML emails.
