- [Instructor] So, you're a brand new creative grad or young professional. Here are some real examples with great tips for a good-looking and effective resume to boost you to the next level. First, let's talk about order and content. If you've recently graduated, your education credentials should be right at the top under your vitals or contact information. If you had a good GPA, anything 3.5 or higher, include it. Did you make dean's list or were you Phi Beta Kappa? Did you graduate with honors? Any scholarships? Definitely include details. Don't use acronyms. Spell out anything a recruiter might not understand. If you've had relevant internships, be sure to list the actual months, not only the years. Be honest about what your actual responsibilities were. Recruiters can read between the lines. They know that it's unlikely that a recent grad would be given very senior responsibilities.
