Preflight the document
- [Instructor] Our client has reviewed our work and they've given us the go ahead to send a PDF to the printer. Before I do so, I want to run a preflight profile on the document, just to make sure there are no problems. Down here is the preflight area, currently says no errors. Always a nice thing to see, but we are just currently using the basic profile, which doesn't check for much. So I'm going to define my own profile and I specifically want to look at image resolution. So I'm going to come and check image resolution and say that we want to make sure that the minimum resolution of the color images is 300 pixels per inch. We don't have any grayscale images, so I'm just going to leave that as is. I'd also like to be notified of any non-proportional scaling and to be notified of any overset text. Okay, that's about it. Maybe non-proportional type scaling, highly unlikely that that's in there, but it will notify us…
