Power scaling techniques

In my InDesign Essential Training title, I explained the basics of scaling one or more objects on your page. And if you skipped that movie, you may have missed one of the most important and obscure scaling tips in InDesign. So I'm going to review that quickly here, and then I'm going to show you some other crucial features that help you understand how InDesign thinks about scaling. I have my Catalog file opened from the Exercise folder, and I'd like to scale some of these text frames. I'll select two of these text frames by holding down the Shift key while clicking on them with the Selection Tool, and then I'm going to scale them by dragging one of the corner handles. Of course, if I just click and drag, it doesn't resize at all. It moves the objects around to fit this new size. That's not what I wanted. Press Command+Z or Ctrl+Z on Windows.
