Panning and zooming - InDesign Tutorial

Panning and zooming
- [Instructor] To work efficiently in InDesign, you need to be able to navigate within a document by panning and zooming. Although InDesign provides users with a zoom tool for zooming and a hand tool for panning, we'll be using keyboard shortcuts for maximum efficiency. Press Command + Spacebar or Control + Spacebar on your keyboard to temporarily activate the zoom tool. On a Mac, please note that this shortcut conflicts with Spotlight, which can be disabled in system preferences. Drag up and to the left to zoom out on your document. Drag down and to the right to zoom in on your document. When you release the keys on your keyboard, you'll go back to your previous tool. Hold down the spacebar on your keyboard and drag to change the location and the area that you're viewing in the document. Press Command + 0 or Control + 0 to fit the page to the document window.
