Packaging and archiving the project

- [Instructor] Having prepared the print-ready PDF and sent that to the printer, there's one more thing that we need to do, and that's archive the project. Throughout the course of a project, you may be drawing in images from a variety of different folders, possibly even different file servers, and you want to gather them all up into one nice, tidy package. So from the File menu, come and choose Package. This is also used as a preflight that predates the live preflight. And the preflight here is warning me that I have 10 images that are in the RGB color space. I'm not worried about that because I'm using a color managed workflow so that when I export to the PDF, as I did in the previous movie, the colors will end up as CMYK. So I'm going to move directly to Package. And we see the Printing Instructions box which I'm not going to fill out. This is only relevant if you're sending the package to the printer, but most printers will prefer that you send them a PDF. So I'm going to just…
