- In this chapter, we'll take a look at the different kinds of interactive documents you can build with in design, to help you answer some important questions you might have. Maybe you know you wanna build some kind of interactive document, but you might not know what your options are, or the best way to choose between them. Maybe you only know that you want your documents on the iPad, but you're not sure how to accomplish that. Or maybe you know you wanna publish an eBook, but you don't know what tools InDesign has to help you with that job. So in this chapter, we'll look at the most common types of interactive documents that you'll create with InDesign, we'll see examples, we'll list the strengths and weaknesses of each format, and some key techniques for working with them. By the end of this chapter, you should understand what makes each kind of document interactive, and be able to use that understanding to choose the right kind of document for your projects.
