Organize and customize the workspace

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at what you need to know about using InDesign workspaces for the ACA exam. The workspace menu is at the top of the document window in an area called the application bar, right up here. And you can choose here from the default workspaces that come with InDesign, or add your own, and you can do the same thing from the Window menu. I'll select the Essentials workspace here, and this offers a very streamlined interface with just a few panels, things like Properties, Pages, and CC Libraries. I'll choose the Essentials Classic workspace, and make sure that it's reset to its default appearance. So, now I have the control panel above my document here, and I have a few other panels, like Pages, Layers, Links, and so on. Or I can choose a workspace like Typography, and I get all kinds of panels for formatting and editing text, like Glyphs, Text Wrap, Paragraph and Paragraph Styles, and Character and Character Styles.
