Scot Johns has an exhaustive survey of all things Kindle. He reads the publishing guidelines thoroughly and tests what are touted as improvements or changes. He maintains a grid of what features work on which Kindle devices and apps. Pariah Burke has a lot of information on fixed layout eBooks on his website, including working with InDesign, along with books and training videos.
