- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how to make selections in InDesign. In our file, we have this placed image of a pan, and let's say we want the text to wrap around the shape of the pan handle in the second column and also to rotate the pan so it's at more of a flat angle. To rotate both the pan photo and the frame containing it, I have to select the frame with the Selection Tool. That's the black arrow. And I can tell that I have the frame selected by the color of its edges, which is the color chosen for the layer in the Layers panel. So I see blue here and blue around the edges. If I wanted to leave the frame as it is and just work with the image inside the frame, there are a number of ways to select just the image. I can double-click on the image with the Selection Tool. Notice how the color of the edge of the image is the opposite of the layer color. Now it's a yellowish brown instead of blue.
